Your memories are stunning and your telling of these adventures is so much fun reading. I remember those days of real cameras. You hoped and prayed when they were developed you were looking cute in them and not a weird look on your face ,nor your eyes closed! lol
Lol about cameras, right? Never knowing if your snapshot would be a good picture till much later when it got developed. Kids today have no idea! And then if you had to develop the film on top of capturing a good image--oy! I took a photography course in college and I enjoyed it very much. The darkroom always felt a bit disorienting and surreal, and the image you'd captured materializing before your eyes was a kind of magic all its own.
